On this September 1st, 103rd anniversary of the Kanto Massacre POOR MAGAZINE moves in solidarity with the Zainichi, Chinese and all migrants forced off their land, trafficked, assaulted and viciously robbed of their homes by imperialist Japan. The Kanto Massacre of 1923 was just the beginning of tragic death by mobs of racist, supremacist individuals, strategically encouraged by the government and Japanese military. Japan launched a home invasion on the people of Korea, rampaged through China to steal both countries' people, land and resources. Kidnapping and enslaving hundreds of thousands of women and children, Japan compounded all that inhumanity subjecting our sisters, grandmothers, daughters, mothers to shameful, degrading acts for soldiers’ satisfaction.
