He Was a Bank Security Guard - Now He Helps Moms as a Birth Doula

When I was a kid, I didn't have a lot of time with my family and I always loved helping others, so this story really touched me. This is the story of Teddy Gant Jr, a male birth doula from Houston, Texas.

When Teddy was 12, he learned from his mom that he almost died when she was giving birth. Because of this, he cared a lot about becoming a doula and a person that takes care of kids.

From that young age onwards, he held a vision of wanting to help others by supporting the birthing process. Once working as a security guard, he fulfilled his dreams and became a certified doula. What he's doing now means a lot to me and to the world.

His mission inspires me and I'm on a long mission, too: a positive one to help others.
