Twenty-two points, plus triple-word-score, plus fifty points for using all my letters. Game's over. I'm outta here.

What I Learned at Folsom State

How does one keep his sanity?
In a world totally insane
Why should one have humanity ?
When the world is so inhumane

Once upon a time we forgot
What we did not know, we knew
The victims of a fiendish plot
And the evil things that men do

“You- are -eight-y sixed”, he unblinkingly growled through bared teeth. What is eighty sixed? I thought to myself.  The bar blurred, my pants grew moist and the rancid smell of alcohol filled my nostrils. I was on a Bar’s floor with a pool stick around my neck. Leroy's story is just one example of many thousands of examples of profiling by Po'Lice officers in cities across Amerikkka. Many of us peoples of color and poor peoples in the US face these acts of harassment by po'lice for the sole act of walking, bike, adult tricycle-riding, shopping, driving or residing while Black, Brown, Poor or Disabled...
