A Theatre of the POOR production with LA Poverty Department in LA at the Skid Row History Museum and Archive ( this is open to everyone)
A Free one day bi-lingual Theatre workshop  that is an outgrowth of the book Poverty Scholarship - Poor People-led Theory, Art, Words and Tears
 
 
What is a Poverty Skola?

Have you struggled/lived thru/survived poverty, homelessness, eviction, displacement, incarceration, racial profiling, police harassment  racism, disability and/or colonization. This 4 week workshop is focused on healing, telling your story in your own words - for unhoused, criminalized, evicted, displaced, disabled, very low-income, bordered, and/or indigenous folks

4pm Play & Presentation at Skid Row Museum

8pm Reading and Prayer at Tia Chuchas Cultural Store and Books in Sylmar, Ca
